Welcome to the place where we honour our Volunteers! Without them we would have a very hard time keeping the shelter open. The animals all look forward to their visits and we want to say a big THANK YOU!! May Volunteer of the Month Dave Jackson volunteers his time at the Peace River SPCA, to make the dogs more adoptable. Dave has been volunteering in our Shelter since January 2010 by offering his canine training expertise. In this picture, Dave is spending some quality time with Cocoa, one of our black lab females who is up for adoption. Thank you Dave for your time, and we hope that you continue to come in and spend time with our wonderful dogs!! April Volunteer of the Month Jody Kowalchuck and his wife have been coming into our shelter for months and walking our dogs. We would like to recognize him as our volunteer for April 2010 and hope that he and his wife continue to visit our shelter!! March Volunteer of the Month Emily Styles has been coming into our shelter for months, petting and grooming our cats. She shows a real love towards the cats here and I know that they really appreciate the attention that she shows them! We would like to recognize Emily as our volunteer for March 2010! February Volunteer of the Month Morgan Ginther is our volunteer for February 2010. Morgan is 14 years old and has been volunteering with the Peace River SPCA for the past 3 years. Her apparent love for animals makes her a very valuable volunteer! We hope she keeps loving the animals at our shelter. January Volunteer of the Month This is Kendall Stavast, our volunteer of the month for January. Kendall comes into the Shelter at least 3 to 4 times per week and takes 2 dogs for a run. Although he has 2 of his own dogs, he finds the time to come in and give our dogs some much needed exercise and attention.
